OSRAM SYLVANIA held their National Sales Meeting at the Westin Copley Plaza in Boston. Seventeen separate business units transformed the Staffordshire Ballroom into a private show floor featuring the latest technology.

Creatacor assisted by providing rental exhibits that allowed for specialized lighting fixture mounting from ceilings so the entire OSRAM SYLVANIA sales force could view all products in the best "light". Creatacor also supervised the load-in that included multiple trips up to OSI headquarters in Danvers, MA to pack up all the materials. After a long installation that spanned over a 48 hour period, the event was considered a complete success, setting the tone for greater sales success in 2012.
Here at Creatacor, we all simply love what we do. And when the end result is a thrilled client? It doesn't get much better than that?!

Wit's End Giftique, located in Clifton Park NY, is a family owned and operated store that sells truly unique gifts for all ages. Meandering through the building is an experience in itself. When the owners decided to expand their inventory into fashion, a statement had to be made. In a 10,000 sq. ft. addition, Wit's End needed some urgent help with finishing their scenic displays of the "World's Fashion Capitals."
Never a company to say "that's impossible," Creatacor worked quickly and efficiently under a very tight deadline to complete our work, which includes the building and installation of: store facades; motorized LED Moulin Rouge windmill; a financial ticker with live stock feed; custom light boxes for the Tokyo, New York City, London, and Paris displays.
The result? A VERY happy client, Wit's End's owner Susan Hoffman and manager Whitney Hoffman: "Your inherently accommodating nature stands as a testament to the root of your success. Timely design, sourcing of materials, and construction speaks to how well you have fostered relationships among staff and suppliers. Wit's End is honored to have found and partnered with such an efficient and good-natured group.... Our only regret is not having discovered Creatacor earlier."
The annual ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine) meeting kicked off in Orlando Florida this week. It was reported that attendance for the opening day of the meeting topped over 5,000 - a great start for this important meeting. With the help of a spacious and inviting floor plan, sequential LED lighting, custom antique gold picture frames installed on all product product panels and various booth draws, this Watson Pharmaceuticals exhibit was one of the most popular spaces at the show.

Custom antique gold Museum picture frames were provided and installed around the perimeter of Watson's Crinone product panels. Internal Sequential LED lighting to the corner modules and the Central Tower further accentuated Watson's logo and helped to draw attendees attention to the all new Crinone product panels.
Once inside Watson's space, attendees could be refreshed at the entrance Food Station with either custom blended milk shakes or freshly made cupcakes. This specialty food was a big hit and there was a constant line of new attendees.
A custom lounge area provided a quiet space for attendees to consult with Watson reps.
All of the exhibit elements in the lounge carried the look and feel of the current Crinone marketing campaign.
Our tradeshow partners at Watson Pharma were thrilled with the exhibit. There were over 200 leads on day one which exceeded their expectations.
It was all fun, building & games for 28,000+ visitors in Raleigh, NC as LEGO KidsFest came to the Raleigh Convention Center earlier this month. The hugely popular event, which debuted in Hartford in 2009, has grown into an annual multi-city tour event which draws kids and adults of all ages. The next stop for LEGO KidsFest is Cleveland in November and then it returns to Hartford in December.

Creatacor designed and produced many of the displays, including the Monochromatic Build Risers, Master Builder Academy & Club booth, Mystery Mural display panels, Race Ramps, Play Tables and the always-jam packed LEGO store booth. Creatacor also handled the logistics to safely transport the amazing LEGO Lightning McQueen model.

Creatacor was also on hand to set up this LEGO Duplo set for a segment on Fox & Friends on October 9th.
L.L.Bean approached Creatacor with a really cool opportunity to build the display for an in-store contest. Shoppers can register to guess the amount of boots in the "Boot Tower" to win a free pair of L.L.Bean boots!

Creatacor was tasked with building a portable, easy to set up Boot Tower and registration kiosk. In order to give it a rustic feel that would coordinate with the interior of L.L.Bean stores, we used an oak trim on the Boot Tower and a dark, wood-like laminate on the registration kiosk. We even did a "boot test" at the Creatacor facility make sure the tower was durable enough to withstand LOTS of weight in boots!
And no, we're not at liberty to disclose how many boots we put in the Boot Tower... Good luck contestants!

Jack Bublak has known since he was six years old that racing is more than just a hobby - he was born to drive! "Racing is in his blood," says his mother, Jean Hatalsky, office manager at Creatacor. At only 14 years old, Bublak moved up from the junior class of slingshot racers to become the youngest member of the senior class at the Caroga Creek Raceway. Last week, Bublak led from green to checkers to pick up the win in the All-Star Slingshot Feature. He had to qualify for his position in the 25-lap race by competing in two 10-lap heats. Bublak's win in the All-Star Slingshot Feature was followed by Cody Clark, Will Eastman, Joe Melius, Jack Lehner, Mike Vought, Russ Kisselburgh, Robbie Albreada, and Lydia Ruckheim.

Our warehouse was very busy on Monday getting ready for the arrival of the Otis booth, in preparation for the 2012 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. It took three tractor trailer loads to deliver the mammoth three-story booth. Creatacor staff is now beginning the process of inventorying the properties, and learning how to efficiently set it up. We can't wait to see the end result at SHOT Show!

For the Global Business Travel Association conference in Denver, our client, ARC, wanted a booth that invited visitors to "chill out." ARC maintained their circular bar with four 40" monitors overhead displaying their messaging, which could be seen from the other side of the hall! They decided to add a spinning hanging sign with blue lighting for extra visibility. A pod was set up with an iMac for product demonstrations in one corner. To round out the "chill out" theme, we incorporated a lounge area with modern rental furniture as well as an oxygen bar, which was a hit with attendees! The wonderful ARC team said it was the most stress-free GBTA to date thanks to Creatacor.

Linda joined Creatacor as a bookkeeper in 1991 and was promoted to controller in 1997. She was named Vice President, Finance and Human Resources in 1999. She is a key member of Creatacor's Executive Group and advises on all matters from financial accountability to human resources.
This week marks Linda's 20 year anniversary with Creatacor.
Our President and CEO Tom Lemery was away on vacation on Linda's anniversary date and luncheon, but he sent our VP of Client Services Will Farmer this message to read to everyone:
"Linda... I'm sorry I can't be there in person to commemorate your 20 years with Creatacor. Poor planning I guess... Please know that I am there in spirit.
There are so many things I need to thank you for:
- Your objectivity
- Your loyalty
- Your dedication to Creatacor
- and above all your dedication to me personally.
...You have been my confidant, my watchdog and many times, my sounding board, simply listening to me rant and rave. I hope there wasn't too much of that :-)
...Your contributions to our growth, our processes, and our company culture are numerous and immeasurable.
So congratulations Lin on 20 years of GREAT service!
I couldn't ask for a better business partner and Creatacor could not ask for a better owner.

John and Lora came back from their New York City trip full of photos and stories to share about their visit (much to the envy of baseball fans!) to the MLB Fan Cave. They were given a behind the scenes tour by Lauren Verrusio, Manager, Business Public Relations Major League Baseball. Lauren is no stranger to Creatacor - she was a client when she worked in the PR department for Virgin Atlantic. Great clients like Lauren make it easy to keep in touch. We really enjoyed our visit and we hope to one day provide our services for MLB!

Comic-Con 2011 officially opened last week with the PA announcement: "There is no running in the convention hall. Please walk to your destination." A full year is a long wait for the Comic-Con fans and they could not wait for the doors to open.

The Creatacor & LEGO teams had the LEGO booth ready for the opening and it was another great opening day.
The LEGO booth featured eight new showcases filled with product line themed sets that were amazing creations from the LEGO model shop and one very cool set that was created by the AFOL (Adult Fans of LEGO) team.
The booth had a store that was stocked with a huge selection of LEGO products including Comic-Con exclusives. The booth also had very cool LEGO models on display which were built by the LEGO model shop team.
New products on display included new lines of Marvel Comics and DC Entertainment Super Heroes, which will be launched in 2012. Figures from both new lines were displayed with 3,000 exclusive Batman and Green Lantern LEGO mini figures, which were given to the Comic-Con fans.
LEGO models stand guard as the Creatacor team sets up the LEGO booth on Tuesday to get it show ready for Comic-Con that opens with Preview Night late this afternoon.

Every show or event we touch here at Creatacor eventually funnels through the Logistics Department. Our Logistics Manager and his crew handle all shipping arrangements, create shipping reports and physically HPLO (Handle, Pack, Load Out) every crate, skid and parcel going to and from our trade shows or events.

After each shipment returns to Creatacor, a full inspection report is generated. This includes inspection of everything... exhibit properties, graphics exhibitor products - everything. Each and every item is inspected and returned to its proper place within our warehouse.
Streamline the workflow, reduce paper consumption, and create a real-time information flow between Creatacor staff and customers.
• Eliminate all hand written lists and reports that must be entered into the computer. Gather the information is gathered once, as it is entered directly into the computer, eliminating paper and, just as important reducing the opportunity for data entry errors.
• Bring the data to the inventory when managing the exhibit property status and locations. This eliminates more hand written note taking as well as a lot of leg work traveling back and forth from computer desk to crate.
Our solution of course was simple... go mobile.... and the "Creatacor Logistics Mobile Command Center 5000" was born [MCC for short]. The MCC gives the guys a break from running throughout the warehouse with clip boards and spiral bound note books in hand and lets them bring their database with them... out into our 40,000 square foot warehouse next to an outgoing shipment or an incoming inspection. AND it's connected live to our system. When we say "system", we are taking about our in-house designed and developed FileMaker based software known as "JobCritical™" which allows us to track all aspects of an exhibit project or trade show program. It does it all; estimating, purchasing, cost tracking, invoicing, scheduling, time management, inventory tracking, reporting and departmental work orders. We've tried to get it to make coffee but we're not there yet. Seriously, JobCritical™ is the backbone of our business and with the addition of these mobile stations, its even more integrated and accessible in real time.
Creatacor Logistics Mobile Command Center 5000:
As you can see, these workstations are armed with an Apple MacBook mounted to the mobile cart with an adjustable pivot arm. The guys can now take all the tools they need to the area they will be working in. They can easily set up next to the shipment they are preparing, the inspection they are conducting or the bay they are moving crates into. They are now able to update their reports and inventory live in JobCritical™ - no more hand-written reports to be entered later. And as an added benefit; while the guys are out and about in the Warehouse with their mobile workstation - they can still communicate with the rest of the company. They are in constant contact with all staff members in other parts of the building using "The Feed" - our Instant Message/Twitter hybrid built right into JobCritical™. This messaging system allows employees to immediately communicate about specific aspects of the projects being worked on. These conversations are automatically attached to the project's records in JobCritical™ for all departments to see and reference whenever they like.
From Logistics Manager R. Dubrey:
"My goal this year is to make our Logistics Department as efficient as possible. These mobile units will allow us to update our essential data every second of the day as our people work... inventories will be instantly updated and reports will be completed without duplicating the data entry processes, thus dramatically reducing the opportunity for errors when data transfer occurs. As we complete these tasks in our system other departments will be notified, triggering other procedures. This is just the start of a series of changes we will be implementing in 2011 to better server our clients and streamline our internal processes."

Another Lightfair has come and gone but Bob Sweeney of Sylvania wanted to make sure by marking the occasion with a big "thanks" to the Creatacor team for all the hard work they put in to make Lightfair 2011 a huge success. As he has done the past two years, Bob asked his friend Pete Datillo, the owner of IAN's Granite State Franks, to take his traveling hot dog show on the road to our facility. Pete comes fully stocked with some of the best hot dogs, sausage and kielbasa you can get in the Northeast and I can assure you no one left hungry.

I forgot to mention the giant ice cream sandwiches that are a meal in themselves:
A side note, I love Pete's slogan, "We cook, we serve, we clean, we leave." Simply substitute the word "COOK" with "BUILD", and you have the Creatacor motto as well. Hope Pete doesn't mind if I borrow that...

Like a Dad seeing his kid off to the first day of school, Dale Chasse from the LEGO Model Shop got a little emotional as the LEGO model of Lightning McQueen hit the road for a cross country trip to Disney•Pixar's "CARS 2" World Premier at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA.

Dale knows the model is in good hands as the Creatacor logistics team will be handling it with tender loving care from the LEGO parking lot all the way to the red carpet. Made with 325,000 LEGO® bricks, the 3 ton model is 12.5' long x 6' wide x 4.5' high and took LEGO Master Builders 2,000 hours to complete.
The 38th Annual NORI Awards, themed "Sayonori!" will take place in the GE Theatre at Proctors in Schenectady, NY this Friday June 10th, 2011.

This year, Creatacor has 2 entries in the "Trade Show or Event Exhibit (Over 20')" category.
First up, a 50' x 50' custom exhibit for Laerdal Medical at IMSH 2011:
Our description of this exhibit on the entry form:
"The objective for the Laerdal exhibit was to bridge their existing product offerings with a glimpse of the future of their industry, medical simulation. When attendees entered the exhibit space, they were met with existing product line simulation mannikins, but as they looked through the exhibit they could see the glowing wall and spinning sculpture that represented Sim Center. Then after viewing demonstrations of Sim Center, they were led back to the product, with an understanding on how to fully implement them in their training and simulation programs. The exhibit was designed in tandem with Brian Vigorita, Laerdal's creative director, and Ed Riggs, Creatacor's Senior Exhibit Designer."
Our second entry in this category is a 30' x 30' event tour for GEICO, in cooperation with RedPeg Marketing:
Our description of this event on the entry form:
"30' x 30' dome apeared at 7 PGA events in 2010. Objective was to capture prospect information while they enjoy some golf tips from the local pros. The dome design was chosen due to the stylistic relationship with golf. The flow of the experience was designed to get multitudes of prospects through the experience daily. The challenge was the breakdown of the dome and its properties and to have it fit in a customized box truck for easy transport, also designed and produced by Creatacor. GEICO increased the 2011 schedule to 11 dates due to the success in 2010."

Creatacor assisted LEGO by building custom travel crates and the display bases for 4 Ninjago models. These 6' tall, 300 lbs. models were built brick-by-brick by LEGO Master Builders.

Lightfair 2011 ends today and last night everyone had an opportunity to take a breath, relax and enjoy some of our time. With the pressure past, many went to the Phillies game to get in a game of baseball. Jeremiah and I weren't exactly root, root, rooting for the home team but at least it wasn't the Red Sox.

Our seats were right down the first base line in right field, and the ballpark isn't bad considering it's in Philadelphia.
Colleen and Allison were able to get their first cheese steaks, the rain held off and it was an exciting game, so all in all, it was a fun night.
And let's not forget Bob who was a feeling a little like Rocky after another successful Lightfair under his belt.

He sent in a few quick reports from the show floor. On Tuesday, he sent in some photos of the exhibit right before the show opened, here are a few:
...and added "Lightfair opens in a few hours and we are ready. The exhibit looks awesome and SYLVANIA says it's the best ever."
Later on Tuesday, he sent in this great news:
"One of our favorite Sylvania partners, Joe McCormick, won a Lightfair International Innovation Award. This is turning into an annual event for Joe's group as this is the 6th year in a row they have won an award. Congratulations Joe! And by the way, thanks for all the help getting the products ready for the show."
Joe and OSRAM SYLVANIA won in the Best Of Category of Ballasts, Transformers, LED Drivers for their QUICKTRONIC QTO.

Some of you may know our President & CEO, Tom Lemery from his over 30 years of service to our clients and to the Trade Show Industry, but what you may not know about Tom is that he has a passion for photography. This life long love of Tom's began as a student at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh shortly before his career as an exhibit designer began to flourish. It's not unusual for Tom to have his Nikon dangling from his neck or in his shoulder bag wherever his travels may take him. He and his wife Gail have traveled the globe and of course, Tom is raising his camera to his eye every step of the way. Tom says; "Great photo ops happen around us all the time. It's just a matter of having your camera with you and knowing when to point and shoot."

During a recent trip on safari in Africa, Tom snapped off over 6,000 images of everything from breathtaking landscapes to tree climbing lions. He was recently recognized for one shot he took while riding in the back of a safari vehicle in Tanzania. Tom turned to look behind him for their companion safari vehicle just as the sun was setting over the savanna. The photo titled; "Heading home after a day on the Serengeti" won first prize in the Micato Safaris monthly photo contest.
Tom has elected to donate the prize money associated with the award to AmericaShare, a project sponsored by Micato Safaris. You can find out more about AmericaShare at: www.americashare.org.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recently held their 59th Annual Clinical Meeting (ACM) in Washington DC at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

This year, Watson Pharmaceuticals used a revised version of their 40' x 50' Corporate exhibit, incorporating a live presentation area and a large food station with servers.
A chocolate fountain with hand dipped fresh fruit helped draw in meeting attendees. There was a constant line of attendees for the entire meeting.
Doctors used the new presentation area to speak with attendees.
The Tower and Corner Modules showcased 5 Watson products with large LED panels with looped video. Timed LED lighting was used to accent the Central Tower, Corner modules and bar tables.
Watson's Exhibit and Marketing managers were thrilled with the exhibit - show leads more than doubled from last years ACOG meeting.
It's LIGHTFAIR time again - and that means that the guys in the shop are working hard to build OSRAM SYLVANIA's LIGHTFAIR exhibit.

Bob S. was in town to drop off product samples for the International Lightfair Show which is only a month away but he was just in time to review the ISA (ISA International Sign Expo 2011) exhibit leaving early next week.

SYLVANIA will be showcasing the newest sign products in a very interactive display that will be hard to miss from the show floor. Both the Sylvania and Creatacor teams have been busy creating, wiring and producing the past week in order to meet the deadline. It brings to mind one of my favorite Willy Wonka quotes, "We have so much time, and so little to do. Strike that. Reverse it.". Can you tell I have chocolate on my mind?
The ISA show starts April 28 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas so if you are attending, please visit booth # 4564, it will be an illuminating experience.
Recently Creatacor teamed with The Food Pantries to create a graphic wrap for their collection bins. In addition to the unique shape of the bin The Food Pantries had a few key requirements–bring awareness to the organization, have the ability to use the wraps for a long time and make them interchangeable on the collection bins. I think we found a great solution that fit all the criteria.

Because the wraps needed to be durable we went with a fully printed, fabric graphic. We sewed Velcro around the edge to give a feature that allows The Food Pantries to easily remove the graphic from full collection bins and remount onto empty replacement bins.

Another Exhibitor Show has come and gone and by all accounts, it was a success. This year, we repurposed an existing exhibit, updated the graphics and revamped the presentation to give it a fresh look and feel. All designed to help us explain how we make our clients feel like trade show rock stars.

Attendees had an opportunity to win a prize after each presentation, a massage. For those lucky enough to win, our masseuse, Ashley, was sure to provide a very relaxing experience. Every winner left her chair feeling sensational!
The show is a great opportunity to meet potential new clients and the attendees were more upbeat than we have witnessed in several years. It is nice to talk with people who are planning on improving or expanding their trade show programs this year after years of simply trying to maintain their schedules or even survive the economic conditions of their business.
Getting the opportunity to see the latest ideas in the industry is another great benefit, plus the show floor was larger than last year and the exhibits reflected the positive attitude. The fact that GlobalShop was up the street at the Las Vegas Convention Center was an added benefit for those of us trying to keep up. Wayne Davi, our Design Director, attended both shows, which provided an opportunity for him to experience the latest and greatest stuff in the industry first hand.
One of our new clients, ARC (Airlines Reporting Corporation) which we met last year at Exhibitor, came out again to walk the show with us looking for new ideas for some exhibit upgrades. We would be hard pressed to find a client that is more fun than the group at ARC. Thanks guys! You're the best!

We had a "Supermoon" on Saturday & "Super Field Service Supervisor" Jim Dolan completed the setup of the new Raymond "Superbooth" for ProMat 2011 which opens today.

The booth, which we recently designed & built, features a 16' high wall that supports 16 LCD seamless video monitors.
The new Raymond Water Bar includes a 10' long acrylic routed logo & that glows from red LED lighting.
Two new reception counters & three new demo counters also feature routed glowing logos. Four 12' circular bases were fabricated with silver powder-coated aluminum and display the great Raymond forklifts. Curved tension fabric displays rise above the forklifts to identify the four featured areas and a fabric backlit hanging sign that measures more than 14' long is suspended over the video wall for a clear view throughout the show floor.
Client, Charlotte O'Dea, reported that the new booth "looks awesome" and they "love it". The show runs from Monday through Thursday at McCormick Place South in Chicago, IL.
A BIG THANKS to Jim in supervising the fantastic electrical, internet, rigging and installation crews that setup a great looking booth.

In cooperation with SoHo Experiential, Creatacor produced a thrifty rental solution for Grand Marnier's 20' x 20' exhibit at the 2011 Nightclub & Bar show in Las Vegas, NV.

The center of the exhibit featured fully branded matrix walls in a tower configuration. We were also able to reuse the bar area constructed last year as part of Grand Marnier's "Grand Smash" promotional event sets.
As you can see, they had a very popular exhibit!
We were happy to once again work with SoHo and Grand Marnier on another successful project!
Our theme for this year's show mirrors our "Trade Show Rockstar" advertising campaign. Is there a better city than Las Vegas to feel like a Rock Star? We don't think so. Our custom built 20' x 20' exhibit will be decked out with all of the action of a rock concert.

We've started getting ready for our 12th Exhibitor Show - EXHIBITOR2011.

The show will once again be at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. As you can see, we're pulling our exhibit properties out to be prepped for the show.
Stop by and see us in booth #1271 to see our presentation - and to speak to the Creatacor employees staffing our exhibit. Attendees include: Will, John, Chuck, Tim, Cathy and Wayne. Apparently, they can't wait to get out of the cold! The staff also hopes to pay a visit to GlobalShop - which is happening at the same time at the Sands.
The booth will feature a masseuse for the lucky winners picked after each presentation. Each attendee of the presentation will also receive a Creatacor T-Shirt. The exhibit hall will be open 3/28 - 3/30, from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

is happy to announce that our three VPs: Linda Casimano - Finance and Human Resources, Will Farmer - Client Services and Gerry Glynn - Operations have taken an ownership stake alongside President and CEO Tom Lemery.
From the press release:
'All three have grown up in the business and have been an integral part of my executive management team for quite a while, so I thought they deserved an ownership stake in Creatacor," Lemery said. "The partnership is also part of our business-continuity strategy, assuring that our dedication to growth and customer-service excellence continues for years to come."
Linda Casimano joined Creatacor as a bookkeeper in 1991 and was promoted to controller in 1997. She was named Vice President, Finance and Human Resources in 1999. She is a key member of Creatacor's Executive Group and advises on all matters from financial accountability to human resources. Previously, she was a principal of Telephone & Computer Contractors and held a management position at Marketing, Inc. She attended the State University of New York at Farmingdale.
Will Farmer joined Creatacor in 1990 as a project coordinator, was promoted to project manager in 1992 and to senior project manager in 1994. He was named Vice President, Client Services in 1999. His responsibilities include overseeing the Creatacor account management team, which includes all customer relations and field services, in addition to maintaining a fully active account load. He has managed hundreds of major events, including OSRAM Sylvania's complete trade show program, which includes their annual participation in Lightfair International. He is a 1989 graduate of Ithaca College.
Gerry Glynn joined Creatacor in 1992 as an exhibit designer, was promoted to production manager in 1993 and to operations manager in 1997. He was named Vice President, Operations in 1999. Glynn is responsible for managing all aspects of Creatacor's exhibit design and production. He oversees the fabrication and production processes for 800 to 1,000 projects large and small each year. He is a 1990 graduate of Nassau Community College and attended Pratt Institute, School of Art & Design in Brooklyn, NY.'

Creatacor coordinated their 20' x 20' custom exhibit which includes a media tower with 4 integrated presentation LCDs, 4 iMacs for product showcasing and 3 meeting area pods to discuss their products and services with attendees.

ARC is a technology solutions company providing transaction settlement and data information services. They are an airline-owned company serving the travel industry with financial services, data products and services, ticket distribution, original travel solutions, and settlement in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa.
According to Travel Weekly's website, LeisureWorld 2011 will "bring together all facets of the leisure travel industry under one roof: cruise products, tour products, destinations, technology tools and more."
Creatacor was hard at work this Winter working on numerous projects. Three of these included exhibits for Techno Source, LEGO Systems, Inc. and LEGO Licensing for Toy Fair 2011 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.

The installation crew supervised by a few of our finest, including Dave West, Jim Dolan & Kyle Peterson, started setup on Wednesday and worked through Saturday getting all three exhibits up and ready for the open on Sunday. Rich sent in this report with pictures from the show floor.
The 20' x 60' Techno Source exhibit focused on 2 games: Tetris Link and 20Q (20 Questions). Our Exhibit Design Director, Wayne & our Graphic Design Guru, Jess, came up with a great design with full mural graphic walls and featured product display areas. The best carpenter on the planet (bold statement, but you'd have to see his work to appreciate it) Brandon Verdu, teamed up with Wayne to produce a giant 20Q game that came out amazing.
About Tetris Link from the Techno Source press release:

LEGO Systems, Inc:
The theme of the 50' x 60' LEGO exhibit was: "A New Toy Every Day!". The LEGO team are the most amazing people to work with. The LEGO graphic designers never fail to come up with fun & fantastic graphics that are always a blast to produce. The LEGO Systems booth did a great job to capture the spirit of the LEGO brand and its theme of "A New Toy Every Day!". The Creatacor Warehouse & Logistics (and whatever else you need) Manager, Roland Dubrey (Rol) and his team, did another superb job putting together the booth. Kudo's to Rol & his team in putting together the LEGO Licensing booth as well.
LEGO unveiled their largest collection of toys ever, which includes 170 new products. Highlights include sets inspired by Disney-Pixar's "Cars", Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean films and the continuing series of Star Wars movies and cartoons. The new ninja inspired NINJAGO sets were also featured.
The LEGO Licensing booth was another fun booth to produce. The backwall was topped off with giant bricks and had glass shelving to display the very cool LEGO licensed products. Product display kiosks were also full of LEGO licensed products.
Another LEGO highlight at the show was the Lightning McQueen model, measuring 12 feet long by 6 feet wide by 4.5 feet tall, which commemorates a new collection of LEGO building sets inspired by Disney-Pixar's "Cars" franchise. This model was displayed at the entrance of the Javits Center.

A very special thanks to Dave in helping produce another great Toy Fair for LEGO. This looks like it's all big stuff, but it's just like a LEGO model; the models start with a single brick & our displays start with a single bolt. After many hours they all come together to make something very cool.

Virgin Atlantic Airways made a major play for the U.S. golf market as it helped to kick off the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am tonight. Virgin Atlantic took on the role of Presenting Sponsor at the Contestant Welcome Party, hosted by the Monterey Peninsula Foundation. The event took place at Clint Eastwood's beautiful Mission Ranch in Carmel, and was attended by PGA TOUR Professionals and amateur players from the world of sports, entertainment and business.

Virgin Atlantic's British heritage was captured in the look and feel of the Contestant Welcome Party, from cabin crew greeting guests upon arrival and showing them to the Upper Class Suite, to enjoying a British beer at the onboard bar, or delving into a traditional English dish of fish & chips and bangers & mash. Professionals, amateurs and their guests had the opportunity to test their flight skills by virtually flying a simulator from one of Virgin Atlantic's 10 U.S. gateways to its home base at London Heathrow.
Virgin Atlantic communications specialist, Laura Kilroy oversaw the event and tapped the Creatacor team of John Larson and Lora Kanetzky to produce the event.
New customer Otis Technology, based in Lyons Falls, NY recently exhibited at the SHOT Show 2011 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.

Creatacor produced counters and display cases to support their portable trade show schedule. In one of their first uses, four sets were sent to the SHOT Show:

The SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show and Conference) is "the largest and most comprehensive trade show for all professionals involved with the shooting sports and hunting industries."
The Creatacor staff has been hard at work on three exhibits heading to Toy Fair 2011, opening this Sunday - 2/13 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in NYC.

LEGO Systems, Inc. will have a 50' x 60' (Booth #1335), LEGO Licensing will have an 18' x 50' (Booth #1635), and Techno Source will have a 20' x 60' (Booth #3151) - totaling 5100 square feet of exhibit space.
All will be showing off their latest and greatest toys and games.
Our Logistics department is packing and loading out the exhibits in multiple truckloads to be delivered tomorrow:
...and Dave W and Jimmy D are on the way to begin the setup.
As always, it was a great team effort by all departments to produce these exhibits on-time and on-budget for our clients.

It's been a VERY busy start to the New Year here at Creatacor... Here are some quick news items to get us started.
First, we would like to congratulate Project Manager Jeremiah Primeau and his wife Darci on the birth of their new baby boy Joesph on January 13th! Mom, Baby and even Dad are all doing well.
He's the spitting image of JP, just a bit less hairy.
You've probably heard a lot about the recent east coast snow storms. We had Snowmadeddon one week and Snowpocalypse the next. Here's a photo comparison of the sign outside our building to illustrate the difference between Snowmadeddon and a nice Summer day at Creatacor. (Thanks to Jean for the snow pic)
We've also been hard at work right out of the gate with numerous projects keeping Logistics and Production very busy. Going out the door today will be Laerdal Medical's 50' x 50' exhibit for IMSH 2011 (International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare) at the New Orleans Hilton Riverside in New Orleans, LA.
They are also preparing 3 exhibits for Toy Fair 2011 which takes place in February at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Currently in Production are exhibits for LEGO Systems, Inc. (50' x 60'), LEGO Licensing (18' x 50') and Techno Source (20' x 60').
