BLUE CROSS & BLUE SHIELD of North Carolina launched a 10-week, 600-mile walking campaign across the state to promote physical activity. The campaign was designed to inspire residents to incorporate regular physical activity into their daily lives, helping them avoid health risks such as obesity and chronic disease that are associated with a sedentary lifestyle. The program also offered members information about healthy eating and encouraged them to commit to leading a healthier lifestyle.
CREATACOR repurposed and rebranded the GE Wellness trailer for Blue Shield. The kitchen remained for healthy cooking demos. CREATACOR also built the "Office of the Future," featuring treadmills with a raised desk to show people a healthier way to work. The tour also featured stationary bikes that visitors pedaled to power blenders making healthy smoothies.
