No beating around the bush, 2020 was an awful year in so many ways.
Match.com had a great advertisement encapsulating the year very well and if you haven’t seen it, take a look here:
No matter how tough it was, fortunately, if you look, you can find some silver linings.
One for us is we again made the Event Marketer Magazine Fab 50 Top Exhibit Producers list.
This list honors the top companies across the US producing trade show exhibits and event experiences for a wide variety of brands.
As the event world came to a stand still, part of the evaluation process was based on how companies, sorry I have to say it, pivoted, to different lines of work to fill the void. First we designed items to potentially help during the crisis including hospital beds and testing stations. While fortunately not needed, it showed how creative and responsive our team is. Rather than wait for a return to the work we have done for over 30 years, our team looked at the opportunities and made them happen.
Our creative team is now helping our clients with branding. We have provided safety dividers for offices and schools so they could get back in person. We have digital content for clients including videos. We have helped clients to rethink marketing and do events differently.
Yes 2020 is a new four letter word but we survived it, we adapted and we were recognized as one of the Top 50 builders in the US. Congrats to our team and all our clients as our success depends on partnerships, this past year made it more obvious than ever.
We hope 2021 holds a whole lot more silver linings for all of us.
