The good folks at SYLVANIA recently retrofitted the facilities here at Creatacor with new lightbulbs. The light from these new bulbs is bright and fantastically crisp and clean. We don’t know the specifics, but from what we can determine, SYLVANIA used a complicated machine to somehow capture the sunlight out of the air and place it inside a lightbulb. The beautiful thing is that these sunlight-in-a-bulb lights use less energy than their non-sunlight-in-a-bulb predecessors.
The new brighter lights do have drawbacks, though. For instance, it’s much easier to notice who has been on vacation to the bahamas and who has spent the entire winter here in upstate New York.
