This time of year, it’s typical for us to receive gifts from clients and vendors. When Chuck received a package from our client, Gigunda Group, he realized that this is truly a meaningful gift. It contained a note about Project Blanket, along with a fleece blanket. Its mission hits home in the northeast, especially on a day like today when we’re waking up to 1-degree temps.
Project Blanket’s goal is to give the gift of warmth. One of the ways they spread warmth is by offering to donate a case of 24 brand-new 50-by -70-inch fleece blankets to charities on behalf of clients and friends. The idea is that Creatacor chooses a nonprofit in the area that could benefit from a donation of blankets, and Gigunda takes care of the rest. Chuck chose March Of Dimes in Albany, a program that has served the capitol region for 18 years.
Fun fact: Since partnering up with Project Blanket, Gigunda has donated over 54,000 blankets. That is enough fleece to wrap the Empire State Building twice! We are so excited and honored to take part of this special project that will help out community. Thank you Gigunda!
