COVID-19 Office Solutions For LEDVANCE

Creatacor has had the privilege of working with LEDVANCE (formerly SYLVANIA and OSRAM) for 30 years. Almost everyone of those years we have partnered on the International Lightfair Show typically held in May. As with every show, the Covid crisis forced the show to cancel. But out of strong partnerships come new opportunities. Just like every company, the challenge now became how can LEDVANCE protect their employees when it’s time to get back to the office. LEDVANCE had only moved to a new location a few years ago and like many, the office was an open concept. They called us about ideas on how we could make the current layout safe.

They called us because they knew we have a great team for providing solutions when it comes to space planning and fabrication based on our exhibit experience. Working together we designed custom dividers for their desks so each team member has protection on all three sides of their desk. The office furniture includes shared cabinets and counters so we also came up with a protective “spine” developed to split the shared space and again create a barrier between working spaces. LEDVANCE hasn’t called all their employees back yet but they did this work so when the time comes, each employee can feel secure they have protection in their work area as they go about their business.

This project even had an international aspect as not only did we do work at their Massachusetts headquarters, we were able to install the same system into the Canadian office in Toronto. While this wasn’t our typical Lightfair year with all the time and planning involved, we are grateful LEDVANCE chose again to partner with us for their current challenges.
