Collaborations

Parting Thoughts

“Successful companies value dialogue and understanding that people are at the center of everything.” This quote by Ayelet Baron hit home with me, and made me think about how important a people-centered focus is in the business world today. With the economy on a sustained upswing, marketers are busier than ever. These busy times have led to understaffed marketing teams taking on more tasks and fulfilling more roles than in the past. Now, more than ever, having valuable B2B partnerships are essential.

So what should you expect from a people-centered partnership if you are going to be successful?

Expect partners to do their homework. Any partner, whether an existing relationship or a new one, should come prepared to discuss the project at hand. Your time is valuable, and your partner should be doing as much as they can to gain an understanding of your brand, your current strategies and your challenges.

Expect partners to listen. While advance preparation and research are critical, nothing is as important as learning directly from you about your needs, wants and requirements.

Expect to have a conversation. A successful partnership centers on having effective discussions in order to obtain the best solutions.

Expect your partner to deliver custom, innovative ideas unique to your needs, a level of customer service making it seem as if they are an extension of your staff and an excellent final product judged on predetermined goals.

Expect commitment. A successful partnership will evolve over time. While it’s important to establish goals upfront, you need to be flexible and ready to adjust as the relationship progresses and new goals develop.

We strive on a daily basis to remember people are the center of everything, and it’s what drives us to create true partnerships with our clients through our core values of communication, collaboration and commitment.

Project Spotlight: San Diego Comic-Con

San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, CA
July 19 – 22, 2018

As attendees entered the San Diego Convention Center this year they were excited to see that LEGO® went BIGGER and BETTER than ever at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC)! Creatacor continued its partnership with LEGO in designing and producing another amazing Comic-Con booth. LEGO celebrates the 60th anniversary of the LEGO brick this year (as we know it today) and what a better way to do it than with a massive, 37-foot LEGO brick suspended over the booth that could be seen from all points far and wide of the convention center.

The booth had an upper level where the LEGO team set up shop for interviews, filming content (see Unveiling LEGO Voltron to the Producers of Voltron: Legendary Defender – Interview at SDCC 2018 link below) and to check out the action in the LEGO Experience Zone below. A video tower in the center of the booth had a giant monitor that played very cool LEGO videos including content from the upcoming movie The LEGO® Movie 2™: The Second Part.

LEGO is a Comic-Con fan favorite as they are one of the very few booths to have a great immersive experience and this year the LEGO Comic-Con experience was as immersive as ever! Attendees were able to help build The LEGO Movie 2 mosaic each day on a massive wall and create their own LEGO art on the LEGO graffiti wall. The always-amazing, life-sized LEGO models in the booth designed and built by the super creative/engineering phenoms at the LEGO Model Shop in Enfield, CT, included Unikitty from The LEGO Movie 2, Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War, Aquaman from the soon to be released Aquaman movie and the Millennium Falcon Cockpit from Solo: A Star Wars Story. Scaled up versions of the Deadpool and Black Lightning exclusives packaging were also in the booth for attendees to pose as LEGO Minifigures for fun photo-ops. A wall of show cases was set up in the booth to display the new and upcoming LEGO sets and the always packed in-booth store was open for the continuous line of attendees excited to buy LEGO sets and a Comic-Con fan favorite, LEGO SDCC exclusives.

A very big congratulations to the LEGO and Creatacor teams in collaborating to produce another fantastic LEGO booth and an unforgettable LEGO experience for the 130,000-plus Comic-Con fans!
