With nearly 65,000 hours of design time, production labor and logistical tasks behind us over the last few months and with our upcoming busy show schedule coming into view, the Creatacor staff took a welcome break. We gathered at Lanthier’s Grove in Latham, New York and even though the summer heat in Upstate New York approached the 100° mark, that didn’t stop everyone from enjoying the burgers, hotdogs, clams and cold beer… A key ingredient for summer picnicking.
The three-legged race was the highlight of the afternoon as teams from each department walked, ran, stumbled and rolled to the finish line. A water balloon tossing contest escalated into a battle between coworkers, which provided many laughs as well as some welcome wet relief in the scorching sun.
The well deserved break seemed all to short as the day was over almost as soon as it began. But everyone was happy to be together, have some fun and recharge their internal batteries. It was great spending the afternoon together and I personally appreciate not getting ambushed during the water balloon war.
