We’re Hosting Two Charity Drives In November

As the world around us seems to get crazier by the day from hurricanes to the election, we know good people doing small acts can make a big difference. At Creatacor, we are fortunate to work with great people on a daily basis and we are asking for your help making our corner of the world a little bit better.

We are happy to be hosting two charity drives this November.

The first, in support of The Food Pantries For The Capital District, will be a food drive that will run from November 8th – November 22nd. Access to food is a growing concern as hunger is now a chronic problem. Locally, more than 1 in 10 people (11.99%) struggle with having adequate food resources. If you are visiting our office, please consider bringing in food donations as outlined below helping the Food Pantries meet the needs of those who need it most. During this time, we’ll have one of these containers set up in our lobby to collect the food donations.

The second, in support of the Red Cross, will be a blood drive on November 22nd from 9 AM – 2 PM here at Creatacor.

You don’t need a special reason to give blood. You just need your own reason. Some of us give blood because we were asked by a friend. Some know that a family member or a friend might need blood some day. Some believe it is the right thing we do. Whatever your reason, the need is constant and your contribution is important for a healthy and reliable blood supply. And you’ll feel good knowing you’ve helped change a life.

You can sign up now via this link: The Red Cross Donation Site – please visit this page to schedule a donation time. You’ll also be able to take advantage of the new Red Cross Rapid Pass that allows you to “start the blood donation process from the comfort of your home or office and save time at the donation site. The process is simple, just read the information and complete the questions online, then print your RapidPass and bring it with you or show it on your mobile device.”

The day of our blood drive (November 22nd) is also the last day of our food drive. So, if you are stopping in to make a blood donation, please consider bringing some canned goods for the food drive!

We are really looking forward to hosting these events – and we hope you’ll help us support these great charities.
